We have seen massive improvements from Lewis since test month, his strength and ability to try skill work has really grown and we can see a big improvement in his confidence and will to try harder. Well done Lewis!

What was your initial response to becoming athlete of the month?
Delighted, followed closely by wanting to tell Emma and make her jealous!
What movement do you enjoy the most?
Box Jumps. I never thought jumping 39 inches was possible.
What movement do you enjoy the least?
Burpees. They’re grim.
What is your most memorable moment at Aphobos CrossFit?
Smashing the 10,000m row. I’d never really rowed before CrossFit so making it through with a respectable time was a big achievement for me.
What’s your favourite song to WOD to?
Eminem – Lose Yourself
What is Lewis’ top tip?
Focus on your technique and the weight will come.
